We, mankind, were created in the image of God. This my friend really upsets satan. See he is just a creature God created, and so are his demon goons. That upsets him because God has given us the authority over all the power of the enemy. Each day there is a battle in the super natural realm for each of us, God has warring angels fighting on our behalf. We may not see with our natural eyes, but as we go through occurrences like sickness, financial woes, and accidents we know the attack that is taking place on our lives. It is not God doing this, it is satan. He roams the earth seeking who to devour, he comes to steal kill and destroy, but God comes that we may have life, and have it more abundantly. God is a good God, and he has given us the weapons to defeat him. Our weapons in spiritual warfare are: prayer, and worship (thanking him, singing hymns, reading his word). Do these things daily and fight! As we pray, and speak of his word and promises in the bible we are weakening the enemy. The Word of God says our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. So each day we have to put on the full armor of God, so we can stand our ground when the battle comes. God is on our side, he is our commander and chief. We must fight for what God has for us.
Ask him today, Father as we walk in the flesh, I know we do not war according to the flesh. For our weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds. Father, I pick up my weapons of warfare and stand covered by the blood of Jesus in this battle. Let the angels of heaven from Michael's quarter be released now to fight with me in this battle against (say in your battle) the forces of darkness in the name of Jesus. I thank you for the victory over my (say in your battle) for I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate me from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Remember, God is the creator of all things including satan. So fear not he is with you, he will strengthen you, help you, and uphold you with his righteous right hand. May God's peace be upon you today and always.
