You ever left the house and felt like the iron was still on, maybe you didn't feed the dog, or the garage was open, just that feeling like you forgot to do something... We go through life with that same feeling, like something is missing, a void within. You can't seem to put your finger on it, but you just don't feel complete. So you try to fill that void with sinful pleasures, partying, drinking, drugs, lust of the flesh... Not knowing how or what your looking for, just searching in the natural, instead of the spiritual which is seeking out God's plan for us. I'm here to tell you today, that God left a void in all of us, and only he can fill it and make us complete. He makes a way when there is no way, when we think we're trapped in a corner suddenly a door opens and we walked through it. His word says, seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. When that feeling of you forgot to do something happens, your hope that everything is ok is what carries you through the day. Right now, God is knocking at your door, he's giving you the opportunity to receive him, and fill that void to complete you, giving you hope for the future. For his plans are to prosper you, not harm you. Tomorrow is not promised to anyone, so as of today, there is still hope. God wants you to know that, and walk in his love, mercy, and grace.
So just pray. Father, I thank you for this opportunity. Fill the void in my heart I've been trying my entire life to fill on my own, but have failed. Cleanse me, fill me with your love, and make me whole. Thank you for hope since it does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in my heart by the Holy Spirit who was given to me. Help me to walk in your truth, and the plans you have ordained for me. May your mercy and grace follow me all the days of my life, that I may dwell in your house forever. Thank you, that from this moment forth I will never be the same again. For fear is of the enemy, but your love endures forever. In Jesus name. Amen.
God is love, and today he hugs you with a peace that surpasses all understanding. For he is the Prince of Peace, and the Mighty God. Give him the glory!
